GED Preparation

The GED Preparation (or High School Equivalency) program educates individuals who need to improve their reading, writing, and math skills so that they can pass the GED exam and earn the New York State Education Department’s High School Equivalency Diploma.

Classes are held from 9 am to 12 noon, 1 pm to 4 pm (all Monday through Friday), and 5:30 to 8:30 pm (Monday through Thursday).

Eligibility: NYC residents/workers (primarily Flatbush and East Flatbush). Participants must be 16 or older with no High School, GED, or other HSE Diploma from the U.S.; non-proficient English speakers who are not in or planning to be in secondary school.
