Carlos and Tamara are married. They're from Chile. Now they live in the United States. In Chile Carlos was a professor at a university. He had a good job in Chile, but Carlos and Tamara had to move out of the country. Now they can't find good jobs because they don't speak English well and they don't have degrees from American schools. Carlos and Tamara have three children. Their children still live in Chile. Their children want to visit the U.S., but they can't get a visa. Carlos misses his old job, his children, and his home. Tamara misses her family and friends. They want to send money to their family in Chile, but they don't have enough money right now. Carlos and Tamara are often sad, but they know things will get better.
